WOW
This album is truely impressive!! What an amazing blend of acoustic sound and wonderful singing. I just bought the entire album! Until just tonight I'd never heard of this group but, that's certainly changing as of now. I am definatley going to keep an eye out for all of their future work. Fantastic album :D
LISTEN NOW
A friend of mine brought me to TGG's show at the Bowery Electric in NYC lsat week, and ever since, I can't stop listening to them. They sounded amazing live and their new album is a perfect soundtrack to a beautiful summer's day. I've listened to all their stuff now and their new album is by far their most impressive piece of work. If you're a fan of Jose Gonzalez, Coldplay, or Devendra Banhart, then you're going to love "The Universe Is Laughing" just as much as I do.
Sight unseen
I was just driving in my car and heard the song "Trust me I'm a thief" on the radio...Brookdale radio "The Night" and I had such an instant emotional reaction to this song. I waited patiently to see if they would say the name of the band and when I heard the name I never thought in a million years I would remember that until I got home...but I did.
Logged onto itunes and found the song...the entire track listing sounds incredible and I am looking forward to listening to this album and others.
