Album Review

The Very Best of 10cc is a comprehensive collection, featuring all of the group's biggest hits and best-known songs — including "Neanderthal Man," "Donna," "Rubber Bullets," "The Dean & I," "I'm Not in Love," and "The Things We Do for Love," as well as Godley & Creme's solo hit "Cry" — making it a definitive retrospective and introduction.

So Where's Godley & Creme?

Look this compilation is one of many I've tried. This one being a bit better than the 20th Century one, but I have to tell you there is a long lost studio mix of the 10cc "I'm Not In Love" that mixes into the Godley & Creme "Cry" that would knock all of your socks off, if they'd just re-issue it.(It's worth nearly $100 if you have a copy of it.) I also do critisize their exclusion of One Night In Paris...but that may be a Hilton copyright thing (he quips!). This is a great recording and worth the money spent if you have no 10cc...which would be tragic!

A Good Weird Band that more people should know

This greatest hits album has most of their good hits but it is forgeting a few. Even though this review is not on iTunes, I would recommend "Deceptive Bend." Almost every single song is good on that album. Plus this greatest hits leaves out the 10cc epic, "Feel the Benefit." A masterpiece song. If you want to get a main idea of 10cc, this is the album for you.

A good collection

If you don't know 10cc, this will introduce them. Strange, wonderful, lyrical and musical, all at the same time.
