Album Review

The Very Best of Paul Anka concentrates on his early RCA recordings, as well as the re-recorded, stereo versions of his first hits that he cut when he switched labels. The revamped versions of "Diana," "You Are My Destiny," "Put Your Head on My Shoulder," and "Puppy Love" are mixed with later singles like "A Steel Guitar and a Glass of Wine," "Remember Diana," "Eso Beso (That Kiss)," and "It Doesn't Matter Any More." Though it doesn't quite live up to its title, The Very Best of Paul Anka is still a decent and fairly comprehensive collection of his '60s sound.

Spectactular!

Spectactular! Breath-taking! Amazing! No words can correctly describe Paul Anka except the flowing and beauty of his music. Anka brings romance and class to your ears and steals your heart with lovable, sentimental-fun, and songs that never get old. I highly suggest this album and I guarentee you that it is worth the money. If you're a beginner at the classics of Anka start with songs like Diana or Put Your Head On My Shoulder (my personal favorite) to give you the feel of what Anka's music is bound to offer. Nothing beats the classics!

Teenage phenom!

He wrote most of these songs while still a teenager. An incredible talent that makes me realize how quickly time flies. He is close to 70. Wow.

Great

Nice choice of songs good collection for a good price
