Contemplative and soft...
David Nevue is the perfect artist to play when peace of mind is needed to focus on work or just plain relaxation. On a production level, David shows a meticulous ear and discipline to create tracks completely devoid of missed notes or stumbles in the rhythm --which allows the listeners to be immersed without distractions. Typically, David uses atmospheric introductions to his pieces and allows the pulse of the piece to fully breathe. Then, often favoring a three beat time, he will alternate between flowing melodies and more punctual waltzes within the main body of the piece. The effect creates compositions that keep the listener in a quieter mood while still throwing in sounds that interest and engage them. Listeners who are new to David's work may want to start by downloading The Vigil (the song), Watching the Clock, and A Midnight Rain. Alternatively, purchasing the album "Whisperings, The Best of David Nevue" will result in a solid playlist to start off with.

A truly amazing album! David is an exceptional composer and musician. His music provides inspiration in so many ways. This album is an amazing collection of songs. I have been a fan for years and play David’s music. I have had the pleasure of meeting David and having him play in a private concert. He is a very gifted composer and musician.
