Customer Reviews

Its good...

I love anything these guys do, but for a much much better version of "You've Done It Again, Virginia" get the Lit Up single. Demo's are what they are. The DVD this comes with is the real draw here. Do yourself a favor and buy a hard copy. The Vincent Moon DVD is amazing and this EP comes with it.

The National=a band with all good songs

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to for this band. Few people know about this band and it's a shame because they are one of the best bands around. It's like, a band, that is made out of real people, who write songs about real things, with real song structure. If you haven't ever listened to them, Boxer is a great album to start. This EP is a perfect addition to the rest of their music though. Somehow, these guys manage to have a consistent sound that never gets old.

The Live Songs Alone are Worth It

I couldnt believe my ears, and the DVD only reinforced how it is they work, how meticulous they are as a group- and the live tracks are insane i bought tix to the show at the greek theatre in san fran immediately upon hearing it when i listen to them, it takes the best of explosions in the sky and God Speed and adds the most hypnotic melodies lyrics and overall vox- layered, dense the demos are a good listen- this is highly recommended for fans but not for those who plan to take their first gander at what all the fuss is about
