David Phelps has a powerhouse voice with passion!
I have been a fan of David Phelps for years now and his voice his incomparable to anyone else. His range and tone are stunning! This album is great, but mostly because of his voice alone. I am a little disappointed with the song choices; I listen to his strong Christian/Gospel albums all of the time and none compare. But some of the song choices on this album I don't feel are the best. I love David Phelps and will always support him but the pop culture songs on it seem like an odd choice. I was looking forward to another worship album and I'm not sure this one hits that spot as well as his past albums. I find his voice and passion and love so compelling-- be sure to check out his Christmas albums!! They are the BEST!! They are simply unmatched by anyone!! The songs I do really love on this album are "Mine”, “Nessun Dorma”, “End of the Line”, “Moonlight”, “Your Love”!!! Only this last one for the pure vocal talent of “Unchained Melody”. I highly recommend David Phelps- Check out his other albums!!! He is also AMAZING in concert!!
Saddened
I've been listening to David for years and he honestly does have "The Voice." No one comes close as far as range or sincerity or artistry. He shows that on this album. Quite frankly, I am embarrassed that fellow Christians would turn their backs on him for singing songs of a romantic nature. That's not only judgmental, it's ignorant. God gave us the gift of love; if David chooses to sing about that, it doesn't mean he loves God less. Why is it so easy for you all to cast the first stone?
Exactly what the fans wanted
Well here it is Phelpsfans!!!! Some classic hits mixed in with some new material give you one of David's most anticipated pieces of work. Taking a step back and giving all of you (believers and non-believers) something to cherish. A piece of work that will leave behind David voice. His legacy and his never ending spirit to touch everyone with his God-given talent to sing. Thank you David for this...Great work!
