Nice one
This record transports the listener to a multi textured landscape of sound, ranging from mellow movements with fluid melodies to several faster paced electro numbers accented with real intruments. August Rain is one of my favorites. This song reminds me of waking up on a rainy fall morning only to lay back down and immerse myself in the sound of watter falling on earth. Nice one jido-genshi.
a new favorite
This music evokes quite a nice mood and altered state of mind. It's an original and highly creative work with great sounds which are simultaneously fresh, cutting edge, and classic. Lyrical, often haunting melodies. The tracks are all quite soulful and deep. This has become one of my favorite albums.
quality moody electronica-what a pleasure!
The Warm Wet Low is an utterly satisfying listen. I feel it is ambient in the true sense in that it is very atmospheric, like (very fresh and healthy) air you'd breathe that just exists in your space, but closer listening will reveal deeper content. All of the pieces develop in an organic way and take the istener on a nice ride. "La Fille Sur Le Pont" is an excellent example of the artist's success in taking us on that ride. It's an excellent blend of interesting rhythms, which are extremely well done, great sounds, and contemplative emotional content in the tonalities used. Oh, did I mention that the production is superb? Jido-Genshi stays away from all of the cliches that too many electronica artists rely on and offers a much-needed alternative to the alternative! Highly recommended.
