I'm biased...
...because this is my band. But man is this album rad. Recorded in Portland, OR., under the watchful eye of Aaron Fratis, The Warming Light of Dawn is vast, genre-challenging album that has one foot in the rock world and the other in the world of pure wussy radness. Think Okkervil River or Pedro the Lion, but with less self-hatred and more life-affirming moxie than either of those bands. This is an album to soundtrack a your break-ups, funerals and the move to your new adopted city. It's for the lonely folks that can never get a moment alone. There are two singalong songs on this album, "Artists Wear Black" and "West Less Wild." Learn them if you're coming to one of our shows!
