Am I crazy, or did I hear a Cold Play song at one point during the movie? If so, what track was it?

The Way to VT

The Way travelled to Blacksburg, VA last night. Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez treated the students at Virginia Tech to a special, privatized screening of the film, followed by a Q&A session. An absolutely incredible experience that thousands of us will never forget, and we're letting everyone know how unbelievably inspired we feel. The Way is more than just a movie. I can see it sparking an entire revolutionary movement in the film industry. Watching it, you can feel with/for the characters more than you have with any other film in the past ten years at least. This is not a big-budget movie or a ploy to make money off of poor college students, looking for a new take on life experiences. Estevez created a movement within us Hokies. I cannot wait to find myself on "the way" to Camino De Santiago after I graduate. On my journey, I will be listening to this album as a reminder of my first viewing of this movie.

Great Film and Soundtrack

I was lucky enough to see the movie during a flight from Dublin this August. I knew nothing about it, and was blown away by how such an understated production could be so powerful. A refreshing, refreshing change compared with a lot of contemporary movies. Plan to see/hear again when it comes to the BIG screen.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, he grew up in Chicago and was introduced to a wide range of music by his mother. He began composing music as a teenager and eventually moved from Chicago to Los Angeles in 1993 to pursue a career as a film music composer.
