A surprising talent waiting in the wings...
I was first exposed to Kalu after meeting him and getting to know him as a friend. Only after that did I find out he was a musician, that his passion was delivering a wholeness of emotion through the austere power of a meaningful voice. Kalu isn't just another singer, he's a storyteller in the old tradition; his fantastic voice only serves to underscore the power of his words, the delivery of his soul on a silver platter to his audience with each performance. This album captures that expression - perfectly.

Kalu is not only a great person, he is also a talented and passionate musician. He writes and sings from his soul, his voice rolls across your eardrums stroking and soothing. Take the time to stop and listen and I can assure you that will only make you want more.
