The Way I Play May Be Too Entusiastic

So Dropour Year's new EP release is somewhat dissappointing. Don't get me wrong, it is still Dropout Year with tons of teen-love songs and catchy choruses by aside from 'This Notebook' I just feel down. This Notebook = 10, Mile Marker = 8, The Other Line = 7, Counting Down = 9, Pretty You = 9, Lights Turned Low (Ready Go) = 8, Change Today = 7, As You Wish = 9. So Overall a good EP but just doesn't feel the same.

My take on this.

I like this album because you still varied your guitar alot, but didn't let it drown out the vocals. Alot of these songs are catchy, like This Notebook, The Other Line, and Lights Turned Low (Ready Go), and that's what caught my ear pretty much. Each song also has a different feel to it, and I love that about you guys. The best part is when the drummer pauses or speeds up into another part of the song (Counting Down). I really think you have the potential to grow and be the next contending band. Keep up the good work. By the way, please come to Chicago, it would be greatly appriciated!

Wow, just Wow

Dropout Year has finally reached the point to where they know they have hit the mark with these songs. They have really grown as a band and through all of their troubles with keeping a stable lineup they have definitely proven to be more solid as a unit than ever before. This CD is great and this band definitely deserves a label to help them expose themselves more to the WORLD! They have successfully sold so many CD's just as a do it yourself band. Great Job guys! I cant wait to see what happens in the future for all of you!
