Never ceasing to amaze
Steve's musical ability to all spheres of songwriting is hard to come by. From the melodies of his catchy lyrical stories to his handy guitar riffs and relaxing yet powerful voice, you can only think about how this kid is only 19. The maturity keeps growing in him as a writer and a person. I'm proud to call this kid a best friend and watching him grow over the years has been quite the experience. If you want quality tracks that anyone (age, gender, race, etc) could listen to, get your hands on all of Steve Moakler's music because one thing is for sure...Steve will tell you about an experience of his own that you swear you know exactly what he is talking about. It's like having a conversation with him...he just gets it.

I remember when I first discovered Steve Moakler many summers ago. It was at my neighbor's pool party, and he was playing with his old band "My Evergreen Avenue." He was amazing back then, but now he's even better. He has evolved into an awesome solo musician. The thing I like best about his songs are that they actually have soul and meaning (unlike the bulk of the songs that are out there today.) I am so excited to see him on iTunes. The rest of the world deserves to hear his music too.

It's not often that an artist like Steve comes out of the woodwork. I was very impressed by this EP, and honestly, I play it every day. I feel that this recording has something about it that is "uniquely human", and appeals to all audiences, with its catchy tunes, and outstanding vocals. 1. Cleveland - Excellent opener, one of Steve's most popular at live shows, etc. 9.5/10 2. Stay Sound - Awesome combination of vocals, and a very interpretive guitar part. Incredibly catchy chorus! 9.5/10 3. Autumn Winds - Nice piano riff, strong song, good vocals. 9/10 4. Macy - One of the weakest points, but still an excellent song. Strange falsetto, but interesting and thought provoking music. 8/10 5. Favorite Pair of Eyes - Pure piano rock. Lovable song, very catchy 8.5/10 One of the best new artists I've heard in a loooooong time.
