The legendary Whispers...from the Jordan Down projects of Watts, CA making it happen!
I recently saw them in concert in Los Angeles; in March. I couldn't get enough, so I went out and bought the "Live CD." This is a very good CD that covers many of their hits and the new Teena Marie produced "Butta". If you haven't seen them live, you've got to see them. Grown folks music that sounds good! Walter & Scotty's vocal style of singing together and switching off is incredible. They sound exactly alike. If you weren't looking, you couldn't tell the difference. Thank You Whispers for giving us good music over the years..."It Just Gets Better With Time".
GREAT SOUND GREAT SHOW.......POOR PRODUCTION
I have to give the whispers 5 star, They sound as great as i remember. the band is rocking. The Production team cut us all short by fading out the songs. most of the tracks are just snippets. If you gotta hear them live this is only a start. its grate as an introduction to their sound and style. If you are really looking for the memories look for the full releases of these songs....
