A sign of things to come
Few artists come close to creating such mind-bending music as the Mars Volta. With captivating lyrics and infectious, complicated musical acid trips, they do a number on the brain. "The Widow," the first single from their album "Frances The Mute," Volta aims to please, offering an eerily wonderful experience that leaves the listener begging for more. Well done.
This is Incredible
Even though this is the radio edit version this song is incredible! With the blending vocals (Cedric Bixler-Zavala) and the incredible guitar work (Omar Rodriguez-Lopez) this song is the best!

Personally, I am obsessed with this song. I listen to it everyday like a pill. It definitely cleanses your system like nothing else. The leads voice is absolutely amazing! It’s definitely unique to the alternative genre. The instrumental! O gawd I could go on and on about the instrumental! Its intense and passionate. The lyrics are amazing! I don’t quite understand what image their trying to give out; but definitely inspirational. I love l-o-v-e.....this song!
