this guy is so kewl and he is my uncle q:)
pretty neat not upbeat
We Were Pirates has some good stuff that can be really catchy and I've grown surprisingly fond of their album, but they don't have too much variety within a single song. Prepare yourself for a touching but soft and slow pace for every song. I've heard a song they made for This American Life that was a little more fastpaced and I look forward to seeing more like it in the future. Still if you like the 30 second clips a lot you will probably enjoy the album enough to make it worth the five bucks.
Get on the bandwagon now...
...because these guys are going to be huge. Awesome music, catchy melodies, well-written song, fun instrumentation. Highly recommend it!
