Innovative Interpretation
This is an amazing album. I purchased it from the publisher before it was released on itunes. I have performed three of the pieces on this album (Track 10 silent Night. Track 11 God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. and Track 12 Deck the Halls.) and each arrangement on this CD is very unique and highlights both the traditional warmth of these classic songs, and the contemporary style and sound of today's percussion ensemble. Nathan Daughtrey uses the warm resonance of Rosewood to open a new door to such a wonderful season. Thank you very much for producing this album.
The Yuletide Marimba
This is a beautiful album with excellent recording/sound quality and excellent performances. I love the arrangements. It's great to have some of the traditional music of the season but with new sound colors, interesting rhythms - refreshing!
