Syd collides with Rubber Soul
Listening to this album felt like a flashback to listening to Syd Barret’s “Opel.” I mean, Anton’s creativity is overflowing and he’s arguably unique, but c’mon man, this becomes a droning loop of creativity that continues to drift in the same direction. I’ve listened to other BJM albums and essentially feel the same way. One more data point to prove that abusing drugs—be it LSD in Syd's case or Heroin in Anton's—does not make an artist more creative but likely holds them back.
Great Album
A great psychaedelic album. It took me awhile to get into it, but with each listen I liked it more and more, until now its one of my favorite albums ever. Buy it, you won't have any regrets.
