scared yet, Satan?

this is by far the best Impending Doom album yet. it seems that every album has a completely different sound. "Nailed. Dead. Risen." was just amazingly brutal and it wasnt really all that unique. "The Serpent Servant" showed a drastic change in the band, because it was creative, different, but yet it was signature Impending Doom. "There Will Be Violence" has shown yet even more creativity and originality, and FINALLY Brooke decided to mix it up and do some high screams in addition to his signature growls. 5 STARS, GUYS!

Dear God,

It is great to have such heavy bands like impending doom write music for you, thank you for blessing us with this amazing band. There will be violence is nothing less than fantastic. I didn't know how much better they could do than the serpent servant. Well....they answered my question. Hell breaks loose is the greatest intro song to an album...ever

Still good.....

It's still real good stuff, I love that they're much more versatile in their new stuff, while I must admit, I do miss the crushing break downs from Nailed.Dead.Risen. However, I wish Brook kept his original guteral vocal style. It was so much better. I fear Impending Doom is headed more for metalcore than deathcore. And we have enough Christian metalcore. Seriously, we do.
