being a band of my hometown, i have heard quite a bit of hype about this band over the years so i was very excited to discover map via itunes here in the convenience of my very own room. ... and not only that... but! i can honestly say that this album supersedes all of the hype! i definitely recommend this album to my fellow ituners. if this album were sold next to over the counter heroine i know these ten tracks would be far more addicting. this is an absolute must to every itunes library!

Led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Josh Dooley, Map is an indie rock band associated with the Velvet Blue Music label. Founded in Riverside, CA, more or less as a solo project for Dooley, Map made its recording debut in 2000 with the Teaching Turtles to Fly EP on the California-based independent label Velvet Blue Music.
