Beautiful Blues
I love Aretha, and have a mix of her classics and gospel, but never knew she had THIS in her arenal! Totally bluesy, written/produced after her divorce in late '60s, amazing songs and music. Lenon/McCartney apparently wrote Let It Be for Aretha but she didnt want to sing it due to her religious roots, so they took it and made it a super hit - she sings it on this album along with a few other covers that are all great. But best are This Girl's In Love With You, Share Your Love With Me, and Dark End of the Street. If you've ever had your heart broken or got the blues, play this album LOUD, will heal you.
