Beautiful. Creative. Soul-stirring.
I love these two. They make you think. They make you smile. They make you cry. Overall, Jenny and Tyler's sound in this album is similar to the first, "A Prelude," but even seems to have evolved for the better. "One-Eyed Cat" is extremely cute, yet encouraging to married couples in that it's expresses the idea of love being sacrificial, a term not commonly used to describe it these days. "This Isn't a Dream" is a fun, upbeat song with a strong message about the impermance of human life. "Deepest Parts of Me" is really catchy and could easily be their single. It discusses issues and feelings we've all experienced. I could keep going through each song, but will leave it at that... Overall, a great record! Definitely worth getting! - Tenny
So proud of you guys!
I went to college with these two and it has been so incredible to see them being able to live their dreams - playing music together, getting married, moving to Nashville, and coming back home on tour to see all their friends! As a personal friend of both of them, I can attest to the honest transparency and vulnerability of many of these songs, along with those on their debut album, fittingly dubbed "A Prelude" (if you haven't heard that one, make it a priority!). Jenny & Tyler have taken both the struggles and the blessings God has allowed to come their way and written beautiful music that testifies to the growth that can come from pain and the thankfulness that comes from joy. Both albums are unique works of musical art and come highly recommended. So do the artists themselves. I consider myself very blessed to be their friend!
Very creative & genuine
Excellent vocalists and very creative musicians. On top of that, they really take the time to get to know their fans at shows. Very unqiue album with a great mix of happy-sounding summer tunes with deep reflections on life, love, and justice. Really looking forward to seeing them flourish and gain a wider national recognition.
