I heard this song on the Steve Martin celebrity playlist and bought it on a whim. So lovely--beautiful bluegrass meets Irish folk sound. Highly recommended to bluegrass lovers or just lovers of beautiful music!
Accessible is an understatement
As a self-defined eclectic metalhead, random coincidences can prompt random likes. I fell in love with nickel creek the first time I heard Smoothie Song in a fantastic friends' car driving back from a Buddhist temple. So, here I am with dibs on the first review, and a lil more bluegrass/musical resplendence in my life. I think I'm startin to like it. GET THIS ALBUM!!!
Awesome
If it gets better than Nickel Creek, I haven't found it. They have smooth vocals, are masters of their instruments, and choose songs that get inside you with deep meaning and poetry. I am holding out hope that there will someday be another recording from this amazing group.
