P86 + Christmas theme = major awesomeness!
This collection of delictable Christmas tunes is like Santa scaring the crap out of you in your sleep only to give you a huge hug and then run away laughing. That's how great it is! And if you want a more technical view, I love varying degrees of distortion used in each song and even the distorted hiccups on "Wrought on This Holiday's Eve". I hope that is clear what I'm talking about. I also like how the lead singer, Andrew Schwab, uses his screaming and singing to his advantage especially on "This Time of Year". On that song, plus other songs not on this EP, I get the feeling he's been listening to Danzig's voice. If not, then he's done a good job at sounding like Danzig at times. If you like this then I think you will enjoy other albums like Rival Factions. And on another note: I really hope a filmmaker plucks "What Child?" from this EP to use in a future Holiday horror movie.

Man I can't believe itunes took this long to get this up. anyway this is a great album(EP) even though it's a little weird. it sounds totally different than other albums......though you can always count on Project 86 to make something different. what's awesome is that even though it's a "christmas" album you can listen to it all year because it's so different. great album. buy it. support Project 86 and you rock.
These guys...
Should rule the universe. Schwab & co have such an amazing ability to create a mood (albeit creepy) through music & lyrics. It's great to see these guys always trying toexpand their sonic palate. p.s. to the guy who thought it was 'too creepy'... grab your teddy & stop crying. It's Project 86, what did you expect??? They're hardly Bon Jovi.
