A Lateral Move in the Key of Groove!
by CocteauBoyThere really is no way to actually IMPROVE upon the aurally-delicious art of Lovespirals, but maybe you can add some Spice, slather on some Smooth, or gently sprinkle in some Groove, then mix and serve doubley-chilled or, if you prefer, ablaze: and in that regard, some of the very best bands and dj's have lent their hand in creating a latteral move, offering up new versions of "This Truth," a track from the latest Lovespirals' album, LONG WAY FROM HOME. "This Truth" is a sexy lament that grieves obvious loss, but celebrates that which can never be taken, making it a perfect song for mixing in the spectrum between high-energy, upbeat empowerment and mournful, comforting dreampop. Favorite mixes of mine include the Pomatic and the Lthrboots mixes, with Soulwhirlingsomewhere and TT & Yosh at the top!
