A decent mix
by DMSine I would say there are a few songs missing, but not digging "I Used to Love HER" as much as the next guy doesnt disqualify anyone from being into rap music, or not "true". I personally like "Nuthin' To Do" better, and I am prolly more "Hip Hop" than the majority of the cats reviewing. Common has some classic joints on here, and it shows his initial progression from sh*t talking effect-driven MCing (which outside of Das, I'm not too gung ho about) to a thoughtful "grownman' style that reminds me of the feeling of CL Smooth & the like. Adult, not as in cussing and graphic sex tales, but adult as in content. If you missed Common as Common Sense (before some wack rock group who never amounted to crap forced him out of Sense), these tunes represent a good Common intro course. Would be good to grab if you dont have the $30 to get the three 1st joints
