I can't believe that Goldtoes put this out.
Don't get me wrong because I got much love and respect for Goldtoes. He has put out great compilations but unfortunately this isn't one of them. Believe it or not, there are some good artists featured on here, like San Quinn for instance, but this compilation was poorly done and I feel that it's giving the bay a bad name, which is where I'm from. Search "Goldtoes" on itunes to check out some of his other work. I like a good amount of hyphy music, but there is much more to the bay than just the mainstream hyphy music that everyone knows about. Bay area artists have been moving several thousands of units independently for years. Do some research and you'll realize that the bay's been putting out good music way before the recent "Hyphy Movement."

What else is new? Sorry but....I'm sending a distress call to all rappers. Can someone, anyone, PLEASE do something different? " Get Money", Get It Poppin", Time to Ball", this is the best you could do? There's a million songs out there like that. You can't go after a cheap hook and expect to be something special. How you gonna stand out when you say the same thing as everyone else. Weak attempt, weeeeak.There's 4000 songs on this album, with various artist. And I'm not interested in any of them.
