Loved it!

Kenneth Branaugh's THOR sure is way the hell different than it's three Marvel predecessors. It's a comic book finally unleashed in it's purest form, not overly concerned with trying to stay grounded in reality like Christopher Nolan's Batman or Jon Faverau's Iron Man.

Patrick Doyle's challenge here is bring the wonder and glory of Asgard to the big screen in a big way, and he delivers on all counts. His score for THOR is big, really big. It's regal, it's exciting. The whole thing sounds so triumphant that it's downright giddy.

This film is a victory statement for Marvel, it's fans, and all comic book films to come. THOR's score plays it up every step of the way. If you love the music of the movies, don't miss this album.

Patrick Doyle-God of Thunder, Ruler of Asgard and of Music

I rarely ever heard of Patrick Doyle. When I noticed him and Kenneth have worked well together, I thought, "ok, I'll trust him." I didn't know what I was thinking, buying this music before I even see the film! However, it was the best decision I've made. I can't believe how amazing this music is! I never should've doubted Doyle. This music is a classic piece, and very emotional in every way. Dark, Uplifting, Touching, and then the curtain falls to the stage perfectly at the end of the album. I can't wait to see the movie! This is a worthy score that I recommend to anyone! Whomever wields this score, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR.
