Simply Amazing
I will never fully understand the dislike for this album. It takes a band of real artists to make a record like this. This record is amazing, it's epic, and outstanding. If you're a fan of new, inventive, and creative music than this CD is for you. Major Linkin Park fans should also love the CD because a true major LP fan won't be shocked by the music on this record, they should know Linkin Park ALWAYS changes sounds for every CD and that they will never receive a Hybrid Theory 2. BTW, this CD is NOT pop, if you honestly think this CD is pop than you clearly know nothing about pop music.
Standout Tracks: When They Come For Me, Wretches & Kings, Waiting For The End, and Burning In The Skies
Worst Tracks: Robot Boy (even though it really isn't the worst)

This album only shows how much Linkin Park has expanded their musical depth. I am impressed to say the least. Keep it up LP.
Read Between the Lines, People
Okay, how many of you are truly uninformed? The album is a concept album. Meaning, it tells a single story all throughout. This album is quite political, and deals with nuclear warfare. In fact, the title of the album is derived from a quote from Hindu scripture, but made famous by J. Robert Oppenheimer in reference to the atomic bomb, "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one." So, how many knew this? How many instantly assumed Linkin Park had sold out because of the serious tone of the album? Its somber sound? They have been planning this album since last year, already having stated it was going to be a concept album. They have not sold out. Listen to pop singers and their drivel, and then listen to what these songs are saying. There is a major difference.
