iTunes Review

Thriller’s late-1982 release marked the beginning of Michael Jackson’s entry into another level of fame; it also saw the end of a great five-year period of creativity that had seen him raise his solo game on the unstoppable Off the Wall and make heavy contributions to the Jacksons’ Destiny and Triumph. Stripping the weight of history from Thriller is a big job, but hearing the record as a statement in itself remains hugely rewarding. Seven of its nine original cuts were Top Ten singles, but more important is the way Jackson and producer Quincy Jones turned the singer’s obsessions into intricate, stunningly sung pop-funk. From the knowing humor of the title track to the dread of “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” and the irresistible cuteness of “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” and “Baby Be Mine,” Thriller finds Jackson at an artistic height. A quarter century later, it still sells. And nostalgia is far down the list of reasons why.

No Words Necessary

Thriller was not only an album I grew up with but it was an album that kept getting better with age. Today's youth need to understand that Michael is a phenomenal artist who has had an impact on music since the Jackson 5 started performing. People say that Usher, and Chris Brown can dance, but they all stole their moves from the King of Pop. With that out of the way, Thriller is a one of a kind album. If you have any younger siblings or family members that have never heard Michael then give them this album. The remixes are okay and only three strike me as good. Wanna Be Startin Somethin, Billie Jean, and PYT are the good ones the rest are mediocre. Thriller continues to have an impact on generations. I still get goosebumps watching the music video. Hopefully with today's youth they will see Michael for what he is: a truly gifted musician and artist whose albums always have at least 2 songs that you can tap your foot to before dancing around the house.

The Thriller Is Back!! (Haters Beat It)

HeyWuzUp! The King Of Pop is back, and in a big way with the re-issue of the best selling album of all time Thriller. Michael has inspired a lot of artist's to way they do like Chris Brown, Usher, also Omarion, Ne-yo, and more, but nobody has still toped Thriller, good luck with that one. Thriller holds, and broke a lot of records, Thriller is the best selling album in multiple years 1983, and 1984, and won 7 Grammys, also held the #1 postion for 37 weeks, and let's see 122 weeks on the billbord, and yes 7 Top Ten singles, and two #1 singles last but not least Thriller sold over a 104 million copies all over, and 54 million in the U.S.! Point blank Michael is the best, and will get better with time, also the songs are great, Kanye, Fergie, also Akon, and Will-I am put it down did Thriller a justice, so yeahh! Michael has got it, and the Thriller video is still in the Top Ten on iTunes... Amazing. Do your ipod a favor get Thriller, don't go with out it. Thank's 4 Reading Hope It Was Helpful, and Show Love , And Support Thank's

Where is the rest!?

Let's be honest here! The greatest album of all time yes it was and is, but these new tracks are not off the hook. Kayne what a let down! Do not put your name on the track if you only drop one line. Fergie can not hold it down with MJ end of story. The Akon and Willi. i. am tracks are good but not enough. I love MJ he has inspired my life as an artist, but lets start fresh with a true new album. Stop all the greatest hits, number ones, history, and anniversary remixes and get some fresh hits. My two stars are based on new tracks only!
