Great chords, great lyrics, great music!!
This album is different from so many others out there. Most easily classified as Rock/Experimental, these guys are so much more. The easily identifiable topics of love and loss are never cliche, and always seem to relate to you in some way. The powerful chords and drumbeats teamed with the hauntingly-melodic voice of their lead singer give a sense of eerieness and familiarity to their music, always leading you to those far recesses of your mind where forgotten memories and emotions are stored. Never wanting to be a stamped-out replica like so much other music today, Fermata's approach seems refreshing and new, all the while pushing towards that precipice of feeling. And that's the whole reason for music...to have that notion of feeling.
