Album Review
People don’t listen to Thriving Ivory for subtlety — they listen for big, bombastic rock songs that walk the line between tasteful enthusiasm and melodrama. Through Yourself & Back Again is a lush, grand follow-up to the band’s 2008 debut, filled with the sort of open-armed anthems also found on albums by OneRepublic and 30 Seconds to Mars. There's more spectacle than nuance here, perhaps, but spectacle is what the band does best.

Perfect Sophomore Album
Thriving Ivory is back again, and better than ever! This CD shows so much growth from the band, and they have taken so many steps forward. Clayton's vocals are still spot on and beautiful, and the music goes perfectly with it. Every song on this CD is amazing, and I'd recommend it to anyone, but the songs to definitely get are:
Where We Belong
Love Alone
Run
Cobwebs
Motorcade
While The Candle Still Burns
From the beginning...
I've been waiting for this album for quite a while. The first song is just a taste of what to come. Having just downloaded it, I am really excited to hear it all. This is one I will be playing over and over and over and over... Yeah, you get the picture. :P
I like the maturity shown as well. The band has definitly gotten better. :) Anyways, happy listening to all you fellow Thriving Ivory fans! I hope you like it as much as I do!
