meh.

this song reminded me of south park creator trey parker mocking jam music. with it's cheese ball lyrics, and not very interesting music composition. it just sounds phoned in. i kinda want my 1.99 back.dont get me wrong im a huge phish fan, i have tix for two shows this june. cant wait to go! every album has seemed to have some kind of theme to it. i sincerly hope the rest of the album dosnt follow down the cheesey path that this song went on.

Brain-washed radio fiends don't buy

For those of you who are used to 30 second sound bites, video clips, and verse/chorus/verse/chorus/solo/double chorus American Idol songs do not buy this song. And, please do not attend Phish shows. This music is beautiful, non-linear. To paraphrase Plato, see the light, not the shadows on the "Walls of the Cave". Wake up to music that challenges you. Or, listen to Green Day and Viacom music and swing Wii-motes to pretend you are "Free". Peace, See ya'll on tour!

Not groundbreaking but not without promise.

Phish has never been defined by their albums. To understand Phish, you must go to a show. That said I couldn't be happier about the return. For a band that was nothing less than groundbreaking, Trey's musical directions since the breakup has been lacking a drive that was present in his fledgling and prime arrangements and opus' (in my opinion of course). On this track or phresh glimpse into Phish 3.0, Fishman rules as always. It took a while for the song to find its power but by the last 3 minutes the wait was worth it and the reasons for the first 10 minutes revealed their purpose. Good tune. Want to hear it LIVE!!! (when the last 3 minutes will turn into another 23 or so).

Formed: 1983 in Burlington, VT

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '80s, '90s, '00s, '10s

During the early '90s, Phish emerged as heirs to the Grateful Dead's throne. Although their music was somewhat similar to the Dead's sound — an eclectic, free-form rock & roll encompassing elements of folk, jazz, country, bluegrass, and pop — the group adhered more to jazz-derived improvisation than folk tradition. Moreover, they sported a looser, goofier attitude; after all, their drummer regularly played a vacuum during their concerts. However, Phish's main claim as the inheritors...
