Finally

I must say, I'm very glad iTunes finally got this soundtrack! Every track has something different to offer. Whether it's jazz, epic, peaceful, or just plain awesome tracks, this soundtrack can fill your taste. Some of my personal favorites are 1, 3, 4, 12, 16, 21, and 22. So once again, thank you iTunes, and I hope everyone who buys this enjoys it as much as I do!

Finale: Full!

As mentioned on my "Sphere"(E.G.) review. I go for the longest available single cut. I even download some without sampling. I know Mr. Goldenthal will tease us towards an 'Oscar' again. Here, on cut #21, he toys with other composers attitudes, like Steve Reich, often at a hard & complete fit for the task at hand (I have this dvd). If the music goes too soft upon its way throught a film, it may never take you 'there'. If a movie backloads a shelf of songs inside, it becomes nothing but longer MTV pap. If a true composer, like Elliot, is put in the more REAL tasking, you find a more appropriate elevation (& elation).

Wildness

Great soundtrack for a very... interesting movie. I love me some movie soundtracks, and you definitely feel this one. Draws a picture in your mind, which is the whole point of movie soundtracks in general.
