Paul Jackson Jr's BEST

I have enjoyed Paul Jackson Jr's music for a long time, I have every album that he has put out, they are all great but this is the best yet! This CD can be appreciated by music lovers and especially musicians (guitarist in particular). But I love his music and I tremendously enjoy his guitar playing. I wish he would put out some more instructional videos. hint, hint! Keep up the God work, he definetly speaks through your music!

Paul Jackson Jr. is the Best Darn Guitarist on Earth! Case Close....

Paul Jackson Jr. is a BADASS player. He's played on countless albums for countless artists over the years, and yet his solo fair is
always a let down in the fact that the production is beyond slick, it's almost too automated. Rarely does a player possess the diverse
chops and musicality like Jackson, and yet this record (I still call them that...) is the closest I've heard to him letting loose. The playing
is flawless and his lines are perfect, yet the underlying arrangements are really too 'smooth' for my tastes. I'd love to see him team up
with some of his L.A. studio buddies, go into a room and just PLAY, because I'll tell you, the results would floor you. If you catch him
on American Idol, you can tell the guy has the ability to play just about anything that comes his way, and with finesse and just the right
amount of 'burn'. I was hoping for a bit more looseness and interplay between the musicians, and yet, this sounds a bit too calculated.
