Taking another huge step
After the crucial ep they brought a different, condensed tone with brighter notes and melodies to "This is animal music". Now they have completely expanded to another level, they used their strings sections differently, the guitar tones are a little deeper and the finger tapping less clear, so at first this album will come off too different. But after a couple listens through I realized that lyrically they matured so much. This album allows you to connect in every way, with the melodies, the creative compositions, and lyrics that can hit home. So although there are aspects of Look Mexico I heard on "this is animal music" that I will miss with this album, this new album is beautiful and wonderfully composed.
