Great album

I remember my mom playing this album to me when I was a little girl. Every song is greatly unique. I love the Cranberries! (personal favorites: Forever Yellow Skies, Electric Blue, I Just Shot John Lennon, Salvation, Free to Decide)

The Cranberries ROCK!

I have been a huge fan of them since the mid '90s. They are the best! Each song has a specific plot it takes you on, and if you grew up on them as I did, it brings you back in time when you were a kid and life was a little less complicated! In my book the Cranberries are immortal!

One of the better Cranberries albums

As a hardcore Cranberries fan (my personal collection includes some of their rare demos), I can never get enough of "To the Faithful Departed." Dolores O'Riordan's standard personal anguish over the ills of the world (at least as evidenced in their first three full-length releases) spill over into her music in such a way as to evoke a pure and heart-wrenching emotion that snags the listener and refuses to let go. "To the Faithful Departed" is certainly near the top of my list of not only the best Cranberries albums but of my all-time favourites of any artist. Recommended tracks are "Salvation," "Warchild," "The Rebels," "Electric Blue," "I'm Still Remembering" and "Bosnia."

Led by vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, whose keening, powerful voice is the most distinctive element of the group's sound, the group initially made little impact in the United Kingdom. It wasn't until the lush ballad...
