Composition

Jon Schmidt is one of the best piano players of all time. If you've been to one of his concerts, you'll know that he also has a great sense of humor. I've had this album for years and don't listen to it as often as I should, but every time I do, it's a new experience; with the lively song "To the Summit" and "Game Day", the relaxing pieces of "Air On the F String" and "Sacred Ground", and the heart felt songs "I Do" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". I highly recommend this album to everyone interested in great piano pieces.

Air on the F String

I have always been a fan of Jon Schmidt but this song is but Air on the F String is truely amazing. It is... wow. If you are looking for music that lifts your spirits, this is it.

Amazing... thats all i can say.

What more can i say, this is the best of jon schmidt yet and he'll have more to come. believe me, buy this.

Classical style new age composer and pianist Jon Schmidt was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. His parents were German immigrants with a taste for classical music. Schmidt performed in piano recitals at the age of eight. Before he was in his teens, he began to compose music of his own, could easily play "Mozart Sonatas," and had appeared on stage with his musician father often.
