As ho-hum as they come
I'm guessing by the other reviews most all of them know this guy personally, so for someone who doesn't know him, here's an honest review. It is your typical Christian contemporary album. Consists of simple piano or simple guitar chords, cheesy rhymes (Let us rise, let us sing, to our savior and our king) and pieces that draw heavily on emotion. It's not terrible or anything, but it doesn't do much to distinguish itself in a genre already teeming with albums that sound exactly like this (and plenty more to come.) I'm still looking for that one Christian album to truly blow me away, something complex and deep that really strikes a nerve. These songs are sing alongs perfect for a youth group or church retreat setting, which may be all they're intended for. The guy's young though, and this isn't a complete throw-away by any stretch, so maybe he'll surprise me.
Real Spirit of Worship
I have not heard of Chad before; but I am quickly becoming a fan after listening to this CD. He has a great tone and His words he uses makes this an excellent cd to worship with.
Love it!
This album is so good! I thought the last album was good but this one is certainly a step up. Well done Chad. Proud of you guys. The Lord is using you greatly!
