Todo Depende de Ti

Todo Depende de Ti

This northern Sinaloa-based band had been playing live for four decades by the time of this 2010 album, which showcases their mastery of Mexican regional music. Led by clarinetist René Camacho, the horn section swings hard, even on aching love ballad "Niña de Mi Corazón." The album opens in traditional ranchera style with "Dos de Quince," with the vocals supported only by the lively horn exchanges. Their versatility shows on "Siempre Estás Tú," a Latin pop ballad with romantic harmonies and more propulsive horns.
