Not the Temptations
The Temptations did not record these songs. Well, they did, but it is not them singing them on this record.
This is a group put together by former Temptation Dennis Edwards, and contains two other former temps, Damon Harris, and Eddie Kendricks. They got together with some other singers and re-recorded these songs. Don't be fooled, it's not the real group.
The tops recordings are indeed the actual four tops, they re-recorded some of their classic hits in the 1990's. Those particular songs are great.
I love Dennis, Eddie, and Damon, but marketing this as a Temptations record is misleading.
