Guilty Pleasure
I saw Barton with Asobi Seksu this week in Chicago at Schubas, this album sounds almost as good as he did live.
It's folksy, he handles his own quite well with the guitar and harmonica. There's humour and intelligence in the lyrics, also a clear voice that seems to vary from song to song depending on the tone.
