Customer Reviews
hilariously awesome
i think this is a grand idea- it's a bit of a bummer that they put covers of the beatles on the album instead of the originals, but i still think it is fantastic. when i have kids, i'd love for them to be listening to the boy least likely to, nellie mckay, and harry nilsson! much more enjoyable than kidz bop or something obnoxious like that...
You're kidding me, right?
A compilation for kids... If you take the artist of cut 2 and put it in front of the song title...what do you get? Think RR's trying to send a subliminal message?
Amazingly subversive!
Bravo! I mean, *Janis Joplin* asking the Lord to buy the next round... on something marketed as a kid's mix...? Brilliant! And seriously, I absolutely love The Boy Least Likely To, but does anyone listen to the words of their songs? They are amazing, but they are not all happy and shiny: "I just want to sparkle for a moment, before I just fizzle out and die. I'm happy because I'm stupid... if I wasn't so happy, I wouldn't be so scared of dying." Come to think of it, I would have been better off -- or at least better prepared -- if I'd listened to stuff like that as a kid...
