Zorko strikes gold again
John Zorko has this magic talent he hides beneath his "calm, mild-mannered" exterior. He has the remarkable ability to bring together, time and again, amazing collections of vocalists, who, combined with his talented instrumentals, have created another amazing collaboration in "Touch". Touch is an album to listen to in those quiet times when all of you needs to step down from the frenetic pace that is the game of life. This is not music to get you through your work day, but rather music to sip wine with, to close your eyes and meditate, floating along the stanzas. Touch will carry you sweetly along on a journey, and bring you gently back down to earth when the album ends. As anticipated, it's amazing.
Enchanting
Touch takes you a journey of quiet relaxation and deep introspective meanderings. The subtle rythmns sneak up on you and the almost gaelic banshee vocals are reminisent of those that lured many a fisherman to his watery grave. The ambient sounds keep the music alive; JMZ actully sampled a GIF image for "Less Likely to Believe" so now you can hear an image.... I love this album.
Breathtaking
When I got it I expected nothing but ambient music, but I got a beautiful vocal orchestration that relaxes me in it's ethereal grace. The Only problem I had with it is the long song length (but it's not a flaw by any circumstances)
