The Next Step Forward for High Contrast

When i first heard In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida i hated it and wasnt sure if the album would be very good if all the songs were like that but they are not and let me say i absolutly love Tread Softly, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, If We Ever, and Chances. This is an amazing album that really is a step forward and not just a remake of his old albums. High Contrast is in his prime on this album and i can not wait for the remixes to the already perfect songs by the hippity hoppity High Contrast.

A Little More Liquid

Another great release off Hospital. Barrett kicked it with High Society and now is bringing the beats with his third full length, TGDD, this guys got some magic up his sleeves. Check it!

An Urban Symphony!!

The 1st time I heard High Society, it changed the way I felt about what drum and bass could be. With this album it's more of the same, beauty but with a grove. The tracks have a mix of many different styles from disco, to soul, to blues, to hip-hop, and also classical. After a few listens I can honestly say it as good as High Society if not better. All drum and bass fans should have a listen. Link even brings a old school jungle vibe on this one. Don't like drum and bass, I still recommend giving this one a chance. You may change your mind.

The man behind the moniker — Cardiff, Wales, native Lincoln Barrett — remained humble despite the hype, taking it in stride. He was only 22 when he recorded True Colors, an ambitious double-disc debut...
