Love the Old school vibe

One of their best in years..

Being a huge Hiero head and local fan of these guys since high-school, I've been very critical of these guys over the years since inception but have remained a true fan despite. That being said, it's great to hear these guys on a track that ignites the head-nod and rap-along friendly flows reminiscent of their early works. Beats help to make a record repeat-listening worthy and this is no exception. Lyrically the guys sound comfortable on the track and their writing, flows, and delivery match the beat on every bar. Remember what good hip-hop sounded like? Remember how it made you feel when you listened to it? For those who are old enough to remember, and those who are too young to understand, grab this joint and instrumental to get a taste of that real hip-hop you won't find on your local commercial radio station. *sonny d.

The East Oakland backpacker crew are members of the loose underground hip-hop consortium known as Hieroglyphics. The group consists of four erudite but hardcore MCs: A-Plus, Phesto, Opio and Tajai. Their debut album in 1993, '93 Til Infinity, produced an early-'90s anthem of the same name and spawned a movement towards bohemian yet rugged hip-hop.
