different...

Their debut Scribble Mural Comic Journal is fantastic! Get it if you have not. This is different. More obscure...sorta kinda.... It's hard to explain. I was a little disappointed at first but it is growing on me. Tout still has the buried siren vocals and the swirling distorted guitars, but definitely explores some different directions, such as Shame and Take Care of Yourself. Hugs & Kisses actually has vocals high enough in the mix that the words will get stuck in your head. Its quite catchy and a welcome little pop nugget. After a few listens through I'd say that if you are a fan already, definitely get this. If not, start with Scribble Mural Comic Journal, then get this.

The Seeds of "Scribble Mural Comic Journal"

This album shows the seeds of "Scribble Mural Comic Journal." It's the same playful electronic noise based "music" using the siren-like whispy singing playing with the edges of music and noise. It's good. If you liked "Scribble Mural Comic Journal" then this one should satisfy you as well.

Just Right

I heard "laughter" on our local college radio station and subsequently purchased this record and SDIG's SCribble Mural Comic Journal. I like this EP better. The end track reminds me of Broadcast played at the wrong speed. This is dream pop mixed with noise and electronics but the result is far from what you'd expect.

Nalens moved to Glasgow from 2002 to 2004 in order to go to art school, and Daniels moved to London about a year...
