Album Review
An entertaining collection of outtakes, alternate versions, early cuts and oddities ("Come Back Beatles" and "The Fab Four-Four" are from a single done as a lark.) Notable for alternates of "Dearg Doom" and "King Of The Fairies" (a pair of concert favorites) and the inclusion of "Green Gravel." Shows off the Horslips mix of rock and Celtic very nicely.

Come Back Beatles is and extremely well written and, well, awesome song, I suggest it to all Beatle Lovers, I haven't heard the others though

At one point in the mid-'70s, Horslips seemed poised to become Ireland's answer to Steeleye Span. But they also had a shot at being the next Jethro Tull (only a better hard rock outfit), or maybe Genesis, or even Yes in their folkier moments. Those events never quite happened, but Horslips released half-a-dozen...
