Album Review
Another brilliantly crafted release from the 400 Years kids. This band can move from angry, choppy rhythms to pretty, almost poppy melodies so abruptly that it is often unexpected. On Transmit Failure, the band offers some of its most moving work to date — tracks like the desperate "An Hour Too Late" and the piano-accompanied "Throw Spark" are forceful and beautiful in the same breath. A must-have for those who can mix metal with their emo, similar to bands such as the Sleepytime Trio, Boy Sets Fire, and the like.

I ran across an hour too late a few years ago but it had the wrong name. I fell in love with this band the moment I heard them and now the album is on my favorites.
