Awesome
This CD is awesome I love Spiraling and think they r a great band. The Connection and Girl on top of the Piano r my favorites with Holy Grail and Lightening 2ice
The Cars meet Ben Folds 5
This album is pretty sweet, the band has their own vibe and clever lyrics to accompany them. Like the heading states I feel with the piano and the keyboard riffs that come through on their songs I can't help to think of the cars, and ben folds five. They also have a little touch of some other bands that I like which makes them kinda unique and fun to listen to.
What happened to the Rock Band on the Hello CD? Yikes.
Spiraling had a great sound on the Hello CD they released prior to Transmitter, where many of these songs originated. Now they sound like a weaker cover band of themselves. The polish is so thick on this too slick production that the edge is gone and the whole effect is to take a great sound and make it rather plain. A disapointment if you ever heard the Hello CD, but if you hadn't you would never know how far down the band has gone and will enjoy this remixed collection for its own worth.
