Incredible EP
This is one of Gridlok, and Violence's finest works to date, every song being worth purchase. IT begins with 'Tricks' and a (at first) gentle, quirky piano sample which then evolves into a pounding, throbbing bass and screaming synth lines. From there we move to the somewhat funky 'Brat' and 'Piston'. Piston not only possesses an absolutely sublime synth line, but also Gridlok's characteristic, brain-smashing bass. From there we launch into the remix of Vampire. Creepy, psychotic, and danceable all at the same time. While it is true that, at first glance, much of this may sound the same, dig deeper, listen harder, and you'll find the special little tricks Gridlok has brought to make each track unique and special.
Only for the hardcore..
This is one evil EP.. I'm a huge fan of Drum-n-Bass and this is one of Gridlocks' best.. It's hard hittin' with a bass heavy sound..
Solid sounds
Gridlok has truly stepped it up in the last few years. His production has gotten better and better with each release. Awesome release, and a must have for dancefloor-friendly sets.
